Some Reasons to Study Abroad
If having fun isn't enough of a reason to study abroad,
then maybe some of these reasons will convince you. At least they will
convince your parents.

abroad offers a unique opportunity to to discover the world, to become
acquainted with the customs and languages of other cultures and at the
same time receive academic credit.
Programs are available through your school, through other schools as well
as through independent programs.
There are programs available in English as well as in most
foreign languages. You will enhance your education. You may find courses
offered at international universities that you will not find at home
It will expand your understanding of other cultures, which
will help you to be more accepting of others.
It will increase your independence and self-awareness.
Having to survive in a completely new environment will teach you things
about yourself you never expected.
It will help build your resume. Prospective employers realize how invaluable
international experience is in today's global marketplace.
